Veterans Alternative is an organization dedicated to raising funds to give our past and present Military & their Families the ability to transform their lives by overcoming the mental health struggles they face due to the traumas of war.

Wheelchairs 4 Kids is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with physical disabilities by providing wheelchairs, home and vehicle modifications, as well as other assistive equipment at no charge to the families.

Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs sponsored the 6th Annual Kimberly Knorr Memorial Celebrity Golf Tournament (2021) on Thursday, January 28, 2021. This event included celebrities like two-time MLB All-Star Ian Desmond. Altogether, $6,000 was raised for Wheelchairs 4 Kids. 

Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs is excited to be a sponsor for the Junior Service League of Greater New Port Richey's Bags for Babes fundraiser. Bags for Babes auction proceeds fund student scholarships and local charities.

The event will take place on February 20, 2021 at 12pm at the Gulf Harbors Civic Center.

Thank you to everyone who donated blood on January 6th with OneBlood! We at Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs had a goal to collect 6 units of blood to donate. Not only did we match this goal , but we exceeded it! Thanks to our Ferman Family , both Employees and Guests, we were able to collect 8 units of blood ... this amount is equivalent to saving/ sustaining 24 lives. That is amazing!

Together they raised $2,700 for Metropolitan Ministries. Inspired by their generosity our dealership management added another $3,000 bringing the grand total donated to $5,700!

There are so many families struggling right now that need the support that these donations will provide.

The Cops/Kids Program is a local organization run by the Tarpon Springs Police Department that provides gifts for low income, and at-risk children and families. Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs has the privilege of providing support for this awesome program for over 6 years.

During the 2020 Christmas Season, Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs raised $2,850 with $400 coming from our employees alone. Plus, 29 toys were also donated.

For 9 years running , the Team at Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs have come together to donate to the Metropolitan Ministries "Boxes of Hope" Food Drive.

Your Ferman Tarpon team rallied together and donated $700 for food and our General Manager, John Reece, matched the donation for a grand total of $1,400!

On November 20th , with the money we raised , we purchased and delivered 1,738 pounds of food! Plus $360 in gift cards for Turkeys!

Thank you so much to all our awesome Guests and Team members who came together to give to such an important cause!

Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs is proud to support East Lake Fire Rescue - Station 57. Firefighters are a vital asset to our community and essential front line workers during this pandemic. And the stations they work in 24 hours a day are critical infrastructure for the community.

Ferman is happy to donate $300 and sponsor Station 57 during East Lake Fire Rescue's 7th annual 5k run/walk - a virtual, on your own time / any time, event between 10/24/20 through 11/21/20. Thank you so much to everyone who participates ... and to all of our firefighters!

The 2020 Corvette is a masterpiece. A re-designed marvel of modern engineering, it’s a “beautifully sculpted mid-engine sports car”, with 495 available horsepower and 470 lbs of torque. And yes, you read that right, it’s all new LT2 V8 engine is located in the middle of this gorgeous beast. As if it couldn’t get any better, the Convertible model is available as well.

The Tarpon Springs 5th Annual "Sweet Corn Festival" is set for Saturday, May 16th at Craig Park on the Bayou. It's a local festival hosted by the Mt. Hermon Missionary Baptist Church offering music & live entertainment, vendors and great food - including southern style BBQ Ribs/ Chicken and "Hot Roasted Freshly Picked Central Florida Sweet Corn-on-the-cob". 

The goal of the Sweet Corn Festival of Tarpon Springs is to showcase the diversity of this great and beautiful community. Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs is all about that and we love to participate and offer support for our local area, so we've donated $300 to help sponsor this great community event.

Some may know her as an A student from J.W. Mitchell High School, while others ... as one of the best in the World. Lilli Cletcher of Trinity is a 2nd degree black belt in Karate, training at Ingram's Karate for approximately nine years. She has competed in the last two WUKF World Karate Championships and is currently ranked as 2nd in the Nation and 3rd in the World!

Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs donates $300 to sponsor Lilli Cletcher for the 2020 WUKF World Karate Championship. Giving us the privilege of supporting her for 3 years in a row. We're all cheering for you, good luck Lilli!

The Cops/Kids Program is a local organization run by the Tarpon Springs Police Department that provides gifts for low income, and at-risk children and families. For more than 5 years Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs has provided support for the Tarpon Springs Police Department and their generous program. 

During the 2019 Christmas Season, in addition to toy donations, Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs raised $2,750 as a whole to help spread Holiday Cheer to those in need.

For 8 years running, the Team at Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs has donated to the Metropolitan Ministries "Boxes of Hope" Food Drive.

Our General Manager, John Reece, challenged the store's Sales & Service Teams, as well as the Collision Center Team to raise $500. If they could accomplish the goal he would personally match it. Everyone rallied and Ferman Chevy of Tarpon Springs raised a grand total of $1,052!

On November 15, 2019, with the money we raised, we purchased and delivered 2,084 pounds of food!

With 25,000 families in need, we greatly appreciate everyone who gave towards such a great cause!

We know that in the drive to end breast cancer, every mile counts. So your Ferman Tarpon Springs Chevy Team is wearing pink to show our support for Chevy #IDriveFor 2019 and the American Cancer Society. 

We Care. And offer our Love and Support for the millions of women affected worldwide by Breast Cancer.

For the 6th year in a row, food was collected by the Team at Ferman Chevy-Tarpon Springs and donated to Metropolitan Ministries. It has become an annual tradition and this year's giving will help feed local families in need. 

Metropolitan Ministries provides 2,500 meals per day which means they have a great need, especially during the Holidays.

Mark Templeton, Jill Vandenboogaart and Kevin Smith along with the rest of the Ferman Chevy-Tarpon Springs Team stepped up and delivered 55 boxes of food and 4 turkeys. That's 1,084 lbs of food! The Team also donated $208 in gift cards.

According to the Pinellas Education Foundation, in Pinellas County alone there are over 3,000 homeless children and 13% of families are at poverty level. Ferman Chevy-Tarpon Springs, along with every Ferman location in Pinellas County, stepped up to make sure these children and families have the supplies they require for the upcoming school year. 

Along with essential items like backpacks, pencils and notebooks, the Ferman Team presented the Pinellas Education Foundation with a check for $2,000. This gift will help kids throughout Pinellas County get the education they deserve.

Ferman Chevy-Tarpon Springs went astronomical to get a fantastic view of the solar eclipse that took place on August 21st. A large telescope was placed just outside our state-of-the-art showroom while Team Members and Guests alike got to experience this breathtaking celestial event.

Ferman Chevrolet - Tarpon Springs sponsored the 2016 Cotee River Bike Fest held by the West Pasco Chamber of Commerce in Downtown New Port Richey. The Bike Fest was packed with a weekend of fun and Ferman Chevy - Tarpon Springs assisted with some of their hottest vehicles.

Guests at the event got up close and personal with the new Chevy Corvette and Chevy Camaro in Sims Park. True American muscle that every biker can appreciate! Ferman staff were there to pass out complimentary giveaways including t-shirts and koozies. Chevy fans of all ages stopped by to get their Ferman goodies.

Each year, Chevy Youth Baseball Program and the Tampa Bay Rays team up to offer a training camp for local Little Leagues. On August 5th, for the fourth year in a row, Ferman Chevy - Tarpon Springs provided transportation for the young sluggers and their parents to travel to Tropicana Field for the camp.

Tarpon Springs High School's girls softball team did not have the funds for new batting helmets this season. The Spongers were set to play with outdated, hand-me-down equipment until Mike Wells and the team at Ferman Chevrolet - Tarpon Springs, stepped up to the plate. The dealership donated brand new helmets to the entire team as a part of Chevrolet's Day It Forward.

On Friday, December 18th Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs delivered 250 pounds of food to Metropolitan Ministries. With donated food items like this, Metropolitan Ministries is able to serve 23,000 families in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas!

During the 2015 Christmas season, the team at Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs joined up with Cops 'n Kids, a local organization run by the Tarpon Springs Police Department that provides year-round after school and summer camp activities for the youth of Pinellas County. Our team helped spread some Christmas cheer by donating gifts for 29 children in need.

Tarpon Springs Team Members  gathered together on the morning of October 6th to enjoy a breakfast to benefit the United Way. Representatives from the United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters shared their heartwarming stories about families and children who have benefited from the generosity of the Ferman Tarpon Springs team. 

Members of the Ferman team including James L. Ferman, Jr. and General Manager John Reece encouraged the staff to beat last year's donated total of over $23,000; a sum that helped Ferman Automotive to become the 14th largest donor to United Way Suncoast.
